WSRTs Statement of Commitment to Child and Youth Safe Organisations Framework

 

In July 2023 the State Government released a guide for organisations Introducing Tasmania’s Child and Youth Safe Organisations Framework. This document provides guidance on the type of organisations that are legally required to comply with the Child and Youth Safe Organisations Framework, and the date that compliance must commence. 

Most Tasmanian sporting clubs, groups and associations that engage with children and young people will by now be well aware of the requirements of the framework. If you are involved with a club or association that has not looked into the framework and compliance requirements, we strongly urge you to follow up through the Office of the Independent Regulator - their website is a great place to start.
